Life at Dynamic Q&A – Episode 2: Chris Armistead

Welcome to episode 2 of our blog series, Life at Dynamic Q&A. In this series, we will be giving you an insight into our team of specialist IT Recruitment Consultants.

Previously we sat down with Mark Humphreys about his time at Dynamic. Episode 2 is all about Chris Armistead, our Recruitment Consultant who specialises in Networks and Infrastructure.

How long have you worked at Dynamic?

Approaching 3 and a half years.

What do you enjoy most about working at Dynamic?

Plenty of training opportunities and chances to grow. There’s always new things to learn, and never is there a feeling of a “glass ceiling”. I enjoy the social aspect too, the “work hard play hard” mentality has been proven to be one of our core values over the years.

What has been your most memorable/best experience here so far?

Hitting our target in Summer 2019, and going to Ibiza for a long weekend. We all had a fantastic time, and still have stories to tell!

What are you looking forward to in the future with Dynamic?

Moving on to grow out my market, and eventually establish a team. Becoming a market specialist is one of my best achievements recently, expanding this out across multiple fields in Network and Infrastructure is going to be exciting.

In what ways does Dynamic support your development?

The door is always open with the directors. This is very unique, as any time I need support on something or to even just ask for some advice, they are always there to help. I am regularly set mid and long term targets to achieve, to lead towards bonus’, car allowances, promotions, etc to ensure I am always pushing myself, and developing my abilities.

We’re currently looking for new consultants to join our team! Whether you’ve never even considered a job in recruitment before – or you have years of experience under your belt – you could have the qualities we’re looking for. With ongoing training and relentless support, we’ll ensure you maximise your potential to perform at the highest possible level.
