Service Desk Engineer

Salary – Up to £34,000

Location – Cheshire

This is an opportunity for you to gain invaluable experience with Cloud technologies including Microsoft Azure as well as Hyper Converged Infrastructure and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.

Service Desk Engineer Role

As the businesses newest Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing onsite and remote support. You will also be responsible for:

• Datacentre builds, racking and stacking.
• VMware migrations and firewall installations.
• You will have the opportunity to work closely with consultants, gaining firsthand experience.
• Working in a fast-paced and vibrant environment.
• This role will require you to go to client site across the north, so a full UK driving license and access to your own car is essential.

Skills and experience required

• Experience surrounding VDI, SCCM and Intune.
• Have a good understanding of Windows Server and Office 365.
• Experienced with racking and stacking, migrations, installations, and end user support.
• Knowledgeable in bespoke applications, desktop, mobile, laptop support.
• Experience working with Active Directory.
• Experience working with Exchange.
• Must have a UK Driving Lisence and access to own car.
• Must be UK based and able to commute to Cheshire.
