Work Environment – Home Based/ Remote – Must be based in the UK.

Salary: £45,000 – £60,000.

 

The Company

An award-winning Managed Service Provider is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their professional services team.

The company is fast growing, industry-leading Managed Service Provider delivering to mid and large enterprise clients across the UK and Europe. The businesses primary focus is the supply of state-of-the-art Cloud and On-Prem Services, working with Vendors such as Microsoft, VMware, Cisco.

All of which means you will have the opportunity to work on the latest tech on the market and on an exciting variety of projects. And due to their vendor partnerships, you’ll have support for earning additional certifications that will be a huge boost to your career.

This role is completely remote/ home-based. You must, however, be based in the UK to be considered.

 

Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer Roles & Responsibilities

As the Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer, you will be a key part of the professional services team, having a keen focus on delivering projects. You will support the Infrastructure Lead and be the focal point for any customer requirements. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Project implementation and delivery across customer environments
  • Implement projects with customers across Infrastructure and Cloud.
  • Domain and tenant to tenant migration
  • Presales consultation and solutions design when required
  • Act as a Senior Escalation Point to the Support team.
  • Working with both technical and non-technical staff, you will be involved in supporting both remotely and from the office.

 

Skills & Experience

The role comes with hands on experience in multiple technologies, will give you exposure to projects, and give you the opportunities to grow and develop your skills. The business does, however, ask that you have:

  • Experience in Project implementation.
  • Experience working with on-prem, Hybrid, and Cloud Solutions.
  • Have Managed Service Experience.
  • Experience working with Azure and Office365 and Endpoint.
  • Must be comfortable with liaising with C-Level staff.
  • Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical staff.
