Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

Location: Antrim or Cookstown, Northern Ireland – Hybrid and Flexible

An award-winning Cyber Security and IT Managed Service Provider is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join their growing Support team based in Antrim or Cookstown.

Technical Support Engineer Role Overview

As Technical Support Engineer you will be a key part of the team, split across leading troubleshooting, support, managed services and customer engagement management. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Manage ticket requests, troubleshoot major incidents, and resolve complex technical issues around enterprise networks and network security.
  • L2/3 support across the scope of manager services.
  • Consultations with customers.
  • Some exposure to project management.
  • Your work will be primarily focused around O365, VMWare, and Networking.

 

Skills and Experience required for the Technical Support Engineer:

The business will actively support you to earn any new certifications that you choose to pursue. The business does ask that you have:

  • Previous experience in L2/3 support in a Managed Services environment.
  • Experience working closely with clients/ customers.
  • Experience working with Windows Serve and Virtualisation.
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel.
