Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 + package

About the Technical Service Manager role

As the Technical Service Manager, the right person will be responsible for the overseeing and leadership of a team of Technical Consultants. This position will be internally facing with some client contact, and a focus on supporting the professional services team with Delivery, Service Provision, Service Management, Change Management and Team Management with an emphasis on delivery processes.

  • Lead a team of Technical Consultants to deliver network infrastructure and managed technical solutions
  • Service Provisioning and Service Delivery
  • Project Management
  • Change Management with a good understating of delivery process
  • Technical understanding of Network, Infrastructure and Cloud Technologies
  • Working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders

 

Skills & experience

  • MUST be based in the North of England, ideally within travel distance of Leeds when required
  • Minimum 3 years experience in working across Technical Leadership
  • A background in Project Management and or delivery management would be useful
  • Managed Service/Solutions Provider background desirable or being part of a medium to large business where you were delivering multiple workstreams/projects
  • Experienced in leading a team of technical delivery engineers
  • ITIL, Prince 2 certifications or equivalent is a bonus
  • Comfortable in front of board members and working a board level
  • Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
