Location: Cheshire – Hybrid and flexible working

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000

A fast growing, managed service provider and value-added reseller is looking for a Technical Consultant to join their expanding Project Consulting team. They offer fully managed services, across Cloud, Infrastructure, Hyper Converged Infrastructures and Enterprise Networks.

The business holds accreditations and partnerships across VMware, Microsoft, Dell and HP and offer plenty of opportunity to work with the latest, bleeding-edge tech. Technical Consultant Role Overview

As a Technical Consultant, you will champion the use of a variety of tech, ranging from but not limited to O365, Azure, VMware, SAN and Networking. You will work alongside the field engineering and sales teams, to primarily understand customer needs, design solutions and deploy across various customer environments. Your responsibilities will also include:

• Design network solutions directly and alongside operational teams across Office 365, Virtual and Cloud Environments.
• Speak directly with end user, specifying their needs and providing solutions.
• Advising customers on Microsoft and VMware’s latest products and services.
• Keeping abreast of the latest technologies to hit the market.
• Working with both Technical and Non-technical staff, you will create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally.
• Working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• You will act as the lead for virtual, storage and cloud environment project deployment.

Skills and Experience required for the Technical Consultant

The business will support you to learn the new technology you need to, while you work towards new certifications. The business does ask that you have:

• MUST be UK based.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in working across a managed service business.
• At least 1 years’ experience in a technical project deployment capacity.
• Experience with O365, Cloud and Virtual Environments.
• Cisco R&S, Wireless exposure is a plus.
• Microsoft, Azure and/or VMware certifications.
• Have customer liaising experience.
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
