Location – Cheshire – Hybrid and Flexible Working

Salary – £55,000 – £60,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Network Consultant to join a fast-growing Cheshire based Managed Service Provider. The business is expanding their network team due to increased demand, meaning there is an exciting pipeline of projects to be involved in.

This role will be a mix of in-office working from the Cheshire office, travelling to and working from customer site, and remote working from home. The business wants to work with you and offers flexibility with remote work for remote customer sites.

Technical Consultant Role & Responsibilities

As Technical Consultant, you will work with the Design team to deliver the highest level of Networking and Infrastructure projects for the MSP’s clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Delivery of key strategic projects including: Upgrades, migrations, and installations.
• Support the Design team with any and all technical queries, acting as the technical authority.
• Documentation of technical plans and solutions.
• Define software, hardware, and networking requirements.
• Provide Technical Governance across the multiple client accounts you work on.

Skills & Experience

As Technical Consultant you will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of the latest technology and software from some of the largest global vendors. The business does however ask that you have:

• At least 5+ years of Technical experience.
• Ideally have experience working in Professional Services or an MSP.
• Industry certified in VMware, Hyper-V or similar.
• Experience in S2D/ vSAN and HCI/ Hyper-Converged Infrastructure.
• Experience in deployment, both on-site and wireless.
• Strong experience in Project Management and Delivery.
• Excellent communication skills, including presentation in both face-to-face and virtual environments.
