Technical Consultant

Salary: £40,000 – £60,000
Locations: Remote Based (Must be UK resident)

Due to the continued success of the business and expansion in the team, a UK leading Microsoft Security Service Providers and Microsoft Gold Partner are seeking a Technical Consultant to join their team.

As the newest Technical Consultant, you will be instrumental in the design, development and deployments of Microsoft and Azure solutions. You will work on a Microsoft technology stack to support the businesses clients, with your work being focused on Office 365, Azure AD, Windows Server and Defender services.

This is an almost entirely remote based role. You must however be already based in the UK, and there will be some travel to customer site.

Technical Consultant Role Overview

As the Technical Consultant, you will join the project delivery team in delivering high quality services across the entirety of the project, from creation to completion. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Hands-on project work including consultancy, migration, and leading customer workshops.
• Working closely with clients and customers to explain design and architecture decisions in terms that make sense to non-technical stakeholders.
• Assist in the development of other Engineers, as an expert in your field.
• Work proactively to improve customer engagement and technological solutions the business offers.

Skills and Experience required for the Technical Consultant

The business is committed to your personal and professional development, and offers support for earning certifications that will support you in your career. The business does ask that you have:

• Configuration and management experience across: Windows Server, Endpoint Manager, Office 365, and Azure Active Directory.
• Design and deployment experience across Azure and Microsoft Defender services.
• Experience working with Microsoft Security and deployment: Defender, and Sentinel.
• Experience working in an MSP environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with both sales and technical staff.
• Microsoft 365 Certified: ‘Enterprise Administrator Expert’ and ‘Security Administrator Associate’
• Microsoft Certified: ‘Azure Security Engineer Associate’ and/ or ‘Identity and Access Administrator Associate’
