Systems Engineer Role and Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities as the new Systems Engineer will be to:

• Implement, and manage complex IT systems for the MSP’s clients.
• Provide expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Continuously monitor and optimize system performance, security, and reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organisation.

Key Skills Required

Your ongoing development and career progression will be a commitment, as your progress within the role and in your career. The business does ask however, that you have:

• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer in a managed service provider or similar environment.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies. Proficiency in networking concepts, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients effectively.
