Job Title: Solutions Consultant

Location: £60,000 – £70,000

An award-winning Managed Service Provider (MSP) is seeking a Solutions Consultant to work out of their easily accessible office in London, and/or Woking, as well as client site. They offer flexible working too. They work predominantly with SME clients for project delivery, primarily working with multiple vendors, including Cisco, VMWare and Microsoft. They work with the latest technologies from these vendors, including Software Defined Data Centre technologies like NSX, and the latest from AWS and Azure Cloud.

About the Solutions Consultant role

The Solutions Consultant will be a key part of the team, focusing directly on D&I of Infrastructure Technologies. The right person will deliver the Design and Deployment of Windows Servers, virtualisation tool, and storage, working with multiple key vendors. This will be delivered across SME and large enterprise sites.

Overview:

• Design and implement Infrastructure solutions directly and alongside Senior Architects and Pre-Sales teams across Cisco, Microsoft, VMWare, and NetApp
• A generalist attitude, with a specialism in one of the above
• Deal directly with clients, specifying their needs and providing solutions
• Design and delivery of core and distribution equipment in multi-site locations across London and the South-East
• Work alongside sales teams and Senior Architects to deliver the best solutions possible

Skills & experience required for the Solutions Consultant

• 5 years experience working in a customer-facing design and implementation role
• CCNA, VCP, CCNP, MCSE or equivalent
• Experience working with Windows Server, Networking, VMWare and Storage
• Knowledge of 2 or more industry leading vendors
• Ideally have Managed Service experience
• Strong storage experience or understanding
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
