Job Title: Solutions Consultant

Location: Surrey

Salary: £70,000 – £90,000

The Company

An award-winning Managed Service Provider (MSP) is seeking a Solutions Consultant to work out of their easily accessible office in Surrey, as well as client site. They work across SME to large enterprise project delivery, primarily working with multiple vendors, including Cisco, VMWare and Microsoft. They work with the latest technologies from these vendors, including Next Gen Firewalls such as ISE and FirePOWER, alongside Data Centre tech such as VMWare NSX.

About the Solutions Consultant role

The Solutions Consultant will be a key part of the team, focusing directly on D&I or Network Infrastructure Technologies. The right person will deliver the Design and Implementation of Cisco Network solutions primarily, whilst working with other key vendors. This will be delivered across SME and large enterprise sites. There will the opportunity to offer Pre-Sales consultation, with a view to develop this further.

• Design and implement network solutions directly and alongside Senior Architects and Pre-Sales teams across Cisco, Microsoft, VMWare and NetApp
• Deal directly with clients, specifying their needs and providing solutions
• Design and delivery of core and distribution equipment in multi-site locations across London and the South-East
• Work alongside sales teams and Senior Architects to deliver the best solutions possible

Skills & experience required for the Solutions Consultant

• 5 years experience working in a customer facing design and implementation role
• Experience working with Cisco R&S, DC and/or Security
• Experience working with Infrastructure technologies from Microsoft Servers and virtualisation
• Knowledge of 2 or more industry leading vendors
• Ideally have Managed Service experience
• Strong storage experience or understanding
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
