Salary: Up to £60,000

The Company

A Managed Service Provider is seeking a Solutions Architect to work out of their easily accessible Watford office. The Solutions Architect will be a key part of providing Networks as a Service to their clients.

The Role

As a Solutions Architect, you will champion the use of the Cisco R+S, Security, and Cloud. You will work alongside the Sales and account teams in a customer facing role, understanding customer needs, designing solutions whilst responding to RFI’s, RFP’s. The Solutions Architect will be the lead for Cisco Services, working closely with the vendor to develop their propositions and go to market strategy.

Solutions Architect Overview

• Customer-facing design
• Cisco evangelism – advising customers on the most suitable solutions for their organisation
• Advising customers on Cisco’s latest products and services
• Keeping abreast of the latest technologies to hit the market
• Working with both Technical and Non-technical staff, you will create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally
• Working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Skills / Experience required for the Solutions Architect

• Must have a high-level understanding of the Cisco R+S,
• Experience of Security technologies
• Have at least 2 years’ experience in customer-facing roles
• Have a Managed Service background (ideally Internet Service Provider)
• Must be able to interphase with both sales and technical staff.
• Must have previous Azure or AWS experience
