They offer specialist IT services to customers throughout the UK, working in both the public and private sectors they offer a variety of bespoke IT solutions and services.

About the Software Developer role

As a Software Developer, you will champion their development team for Automation Solutions. You will be acting as one of the senior members of the team leading projects, through development and deployment. You will work alongside the IT Solutions team, understanding requirements and developing solutions to match.

• Oversee the full Software development lifecycle
• Focus on designing quality testable and efficient coding
• Automation evangelism – advising more development opportunities on the most suitable solutions
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Mentoring junior members of the team
• Working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Skills & experience required for the Software Developer

• Experience in the full software development lifecycle
• Experienced working with Python and PHP
• Must have experience working with the likes of MongoDB and Rabbit MQ
• Previous experience working on automation software
• Experienced working on the frontend and backend
• Must be able to interphase with both sales and technical staff
