Role: Software Developer  

Location: Remote (Must be UK resident)

The Company

An organisation that is leading the way in providing data management systems for some of the country’s biggest household names such as United Utilities, Royal Mail and the NHS is looking for a .Net Developer to join their team on a remote basis with travel to the office in Cheshire once a month.

As the Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest tech while playing an integral role in the modern-day development of some of the biggest household names in the UK. You will be working on greenfield projects, where you will have the opportunity to make your mark as you work on the full lifecycle of the projects.

You must, however, currently reside and work in the UK to be considered.

About the Software Developer role 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Software Developer to join a growing agile development team responsible for the full development life cycle of cutting-edge greenfield projects. You will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of software, testing and writing automated tests along the way.

• Full development lifecycle of greenfield solutions.
• Day to day use of the .NET framework (.NET Core).
• Liaise and work with the BI development team.
• Support the DevOps and Infrastructure teams.
• Adhering to Test Driven Development methodology.

This is a perfect role for those looking to grow their skills in some of the most popular JavaScript frameworks, such as React and Vue.

Skills & Experience required for the Software Developer

• 3+ years’ experience with the .NET framework.
• Strong SQL experience.
• Prior exposure to .NET Core. Or a willingness to learn, as this is a great opportunity to gain experience to .Net Core and advance your development.
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks.
• Exposure to Azure.
• Experienced working full stack.
• Adhere to TDD.
• Advocate of Agile development.
