Service Manager

Location – Cheshire / Remote

Salary – £60,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organisation in Cheshire who are leading the way in providing data management systems for some of the biggest household names in the UK. A company established for over 20 years, with offices located throughout the UK, are looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead a team of 10, providing technical guidance and be responsible for budgets and costings, to join their outgoing and enthusiastic team.

The organisation works with market leading technologies surrounding Software development, Cloud-based Solutions and Automation. You’ll have the opportunity to work with some of the largest enterprises in the country, working alongside multi-disciplined staff whilst leading them with the roll out of automation, cloud and Dev-ops!

Service Manager Role & Responsibilities

• Managing a team of 10.
• Working with a variety of Tier 1 Clients across both public and private sector.
• You will be responsible for ensuring all incidents and problems are monitored and resolved within the arranged SLA timescale.
• Performing 1-2-1 reviews, appraisals for internal staff and setting targets
• Budgets and costing
• When necessary, assisting the team with any issues surrounding a variety of tech, I.e Azure and Cisco

You will have

• 2+ years’ experience within service delivery/Service management
• Strong experience working within an IT services business
• Experience with Microsoft suite, including Azure and O365, as well as Networks and Firewalls
• Process driven, personable and hold strong organisational skills
• A passion for delivering customer excellence
• You will have previous experience of conversing with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
