Job Title: Service Desk Engineer
Salary: £22,000 – £30,000
A fast growing, managed service provider is looking to expand their Service Desk Team. They offer full managed services, across Enterprise Networks, Next Gen Security, Cyber, and Cloud. With accreditations and partnerships across Veeam, Nutanix, Cisco, Fortinet, and Microsoft, they lead the way in managed service security and Cloud solutions.
The Service Desk Engineer role
The Service Desk Engineer will be a key part of the team to support the business across their IT systems. As a 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer, you will have a good understanding of Supporting customers directly and have an eagerness to learn. You will report directly to the IT Manager and have multiple opportunities to grow and develop your skills.
Working with both Technical and Non-technical staff, you will be involved in supporting new services, assisting on configurations, and working on all systems, covering setups, and storage back-ups.
Your key focus is to provide support to act as the first response to escalations, as well as assisting the senior engineers with new builds and installations.
