Senior Software Engineer

Location: Remote (Must be based in the UK)

Salary: Up to £70,000

A Service Integrator is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work as part of their product development team liaising with 3^rd party development team. The Service Integrator have a core focus on data storage, data management, and also implementing their own innovative solutions.

This role is completely remote: You must, however, be currently based in the UK. There will be once or twice a month travel to the business’ head office in Central London, for the occasional team meeting (which are all expensed).

Senior Software Engineer Overview:

As Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key part in supporting the product development for infrastructure platforms. You will have the opportunity to report to and work with the Product Director and have multiple opportunities to grow and develop their skills. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Being responsible for taking reviewing requirements from the service catalogue and translating them into solutions.
• Your key focus will be to work sign by side with the product team and assist on designs and planning.
• Liaising with the 3^rd party development team.
• Working in a split of 70% hands off and 30% hands on. Should you want to be more hands on this can be adapted.
• Review and amend Code where required.
• Working with both Technical and Non-technical staff, you will be involved in setting up new services, designing new products, and working in multiple environments.

Skills and Experience required for the Senior Software Engineer:

The role requires a strong Software Engineer, who has valuable experience working with designs and requirements. The business is committed to your personal and professional development, but does ask that you have:

• Strong experience working with JavaScript.
• Strong experience coding in Python.
• Experience of designing MongoDB databased.
• Experience working on Products and development.
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
