Senior Software Developer  

Location: Remote (Must be UK resident)

Salary: £70,000

An organisation that is leading the way in providing IT Managed Services for some of the country’s biggest household names within in the Healthcare sector are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team on a remote basis.

You must, however, currently reside and work in the UK to be considered.

As the Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to work with the newest technology on the market, receiving any training and support you need: While playing an integral role in the development of products and services from scratch to the market.

About the Senior Software Developer role 

In your role as Senior Software Developer, you will be working on greenfield projects, where you will have the opportunity to make your mark as you work on the full development lifecycle of projects as you work as part of an agile development team.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Full development lifecycle of greenfield solutions.
• Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of software.
• Testing and writing automated tests.
• Full stack working on a 50/50 split between frontend and backend.
• Liaise and work with the Product development team.
• Support the DevOps and Automation teams.
• Adhering to Test Driven Development methodology.

Skills & Experience required for the Senior Software Developer

The company is committed to your personal and professional development, and will provide you with exposure to, and the opportunity to work with cutting edge tech and systems. The business does ask however that you have:

• 5+ years’ experience working Full stack.
• Strong Backend experience with Python
• Strong Frontend experience with JavaScript (ideally React).
• Prior exposure to CI/CD pipeline. Or a willingness to learn, as this is a great opportunity to gain experience to Automation and advance your development.
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks.
• Exposure to Azure.
• Adhere to TDD.
• Advocate of Scrum development.
• Must currently reside and work in the UK.
