A leading Cyber Security Consultancy is seeking a Senior SOC Analyst to work from home. The Senior Analyst will be a technical SME for Junior SOC members as well as a senior escalation point and a key contact for client stakeholders.

About the Senior SOC Analyst role

As a Senior SOC Analyst, you will support the SOC Manager as a senior escalation point and technical SME for junior members of the Security Operations team. This is a hands-on role, but additionally gives you the opportunity for some customer facing as the first point of contact between the customer and Security Operations centre.

• Incident Handling
• Threat Analysis
• IDS/ IPS

Skills & experience required for the Senior SOC Analyst

• Confident in communicating technical incidents or security threats to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience of working with SIEM and log monitoring tools
• Previous experience of working within the SOC (Desirable)
• Proven technical understanding of IT and operating systems (Windows and Linux)
• Minimum 3 years experience
• SANS Incident Handler, Intrusion Analyst, or industry equivalent certification
• Eligible for SC Clearance (If already SC Cleared, more beneficial)
