A Leading Cyber Security Consultancy are seeking a Senior Security Analyst to work from their SOC from their Farnborough office. The Role

As a Senior Security Analyst, reporting to the SOC Manager as a senior escalation point and technical SME the Security Operations team. This is a hands-on role but additionally gives you the opportunity to work in a customer-facing capacity, as the first point of contact between the customer and the Security Operations Centre. You will not only manage incidents but act as customer adviser, supporting their decision making process for new technologies and approaches to securing their mission-critical environment.

Senior Security Analyst Overview

• Demonstrable ability to form effective working relationships with customers and other stakeholders
• Confident in communicating technical incidents or Security threats to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in working with SIEM and log monitoring tools
• Capable of acting as a business SME
• Previous experience of working within the SOC
• Proven technical understanding of IT and Operating systems including Windows and Linux
• Able to operate independently

Skills / Experience required for role

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience
• GIAC Certifications would be a distinct advantage – Incident Handler, Intrusion Analyst, or industry equivalent certification
• Eligible for SC Clearance (If already SC Cleared, more beneficial)
