Job Title: Senior Radio Engineer

Location: Remote / Home Based

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 basic with bonus + other benefits

About the Senior Radio Engineer role

The Senior Radio Engineer will be a key part of the team, with a focus on delivering projects across the client’s RAN and core network, through implementation of RF, Point to Point, Point to Multi-Point, and Cisco/Juniper Core Network environment.

• Senior Radio project delivery, end to end from design to implementation
• Deliver network solutions directly and alongside operational teams across WAN, MPLS, BGP
• Testing and management of RAN and RF Network technology
• Testing and management of Core Infrastructure technology
• Strong documentation writing and able articulate complex RAN solutions
• Design of core and distribution equipment in multi-site locations

Skills & experience required for the Senior Radio Engineer

• MUST be UK based
• MUST be SC clearable
• 5 years experience working in Service Provider or Managed Service environments
• Telecommunications background, with a strong understanding of RF technologies, with demonstrable project delivery
• A sound understanding of MPLS and BGP
• CCDP or CCNP Certified, Juniper JNCIS, or JNCIP would be beneficial
• BGP and OSPF understanding is a must
• Have customer liaising experience
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
