The Company

A multi-award-winning telecommunications Provider is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to work remotely as part of their Senior Security team. The Engineer will be required to attend the office in Guildford on occasion so need to be open to travel.

The Role

As the Senior Network Security Engineer, you work as part of their Managed Service Security team designing and implementing solutions for their customer’s Networks. The Senior Network Security Engineer will also manage all documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure SLA’s are met. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to continue learning and developing your skills with all the latest and great tech.

Senior Network Security Engineer Overview

• Design and implement security solutions for customers networks
• Be a Security Evangelist around all technology
• Act as a Senior Escalation point to junior members of the team
• Working with both Technical and Non-technical staff, as the key point of contact
• Ensure SLA’s are met, Documentation is correct, and Policies and procedures are in place

Skills / Experience required for the Senior Network Security Engineer

• Must have a minimum-security certification of CCNP Security or JNCIS Security
• Must have a high level of understanding of Security Networks.
• Have experience designing and implementing security solutions across Juniper or Cisco
• Have a background in Networking across Routing and Switches
• Previous experience working for a Managed Service Provider
• Understand SLA Agreements
• Must be able to interphase with both technical, and non-technical staff
