Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 + package

The Company

A leading Cisco partner is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer. The company are fast growing, industry leading managed service provider delivering in to mid to large enterprise clients. They specialise in the latest technologies from Cisco, Cisco Meraki and Microsoft, providing next-generation solutions across Enterprise Networks, Security and SD-WAN.

Senior Network Engineer Roles and Responsibilities

The Senior Network Security Engineer will be a key part of the team, split across leading project delivery, designs and customer management. The right person will deliver planning of mid to large scale enterprise security environments, working end to end from customer contact, HLD and LLD design documentation, and some hands-on implementation.

• Design and implement Next-Gen firewall solutions across large enterprise environments.
• Deal directly with clients, specifying their needs and providing solutions.
• Design and delivery of FirePOWER TD and MC, and Cisco ISE.
• Lead projects at a senior level, working as a senior contact point to junior members of the team.

Skills and Experience

• 3 years of experience working in managed services.
• Experience working with Next-Gen firewall technologies.
• Experience in working with Cisco Networks, ideally holding CCNP Security.
• Delivered large scale projects, delivering high and low level design documentation.
• Have customer liaising experience.
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
