Location: Remote / Home Based

Salary: £75,000 – £85,000

The Role

As a Senior Network Security Consultant, you will act as a senior lead within enterprise security projects. You will be a key part of the team, with a focus on delivering design documentation, implementing solutions, and act as a point of escalation for more junior team members. You will deliver a mix of traditional next gen solutions to mid-large enterprise customers, not limited to blue light, education, and central government. You will be comfortable in a customer facing position and have the ability to converse at all levels.

Senior Network Security Consultant / Engineer Overview

• Design and delivery of Network Security solutions
• Opportunity to lead the delivery of complex security projects
• Lead technical customer engagement
• Architecture of complex secure environments
• Support junior members of the team, as a technical lead, not a line manager
• Develop documentation and designs for customers, looking at business outcomes and not just technical solution
• Design and build of POC’s and run customer workshops

Skills & experience required for the Senior Network Security Consultant / Engineer

• You MUST be UK based (Flexible home working offered for UK based consultants)
• You will have 5 years’ experience working in a senior security focused position
• Ideally current or lapsed CCIE or JNCIE in R&S, Security, or DC is preferred
• You will have 5 years’ experience in the design and delivery of complex Network Security projects
• Experience with one or more vendors; Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, or any other Network Security
• Regularly been accountable for delivering large scale network security projects
• You will be comfortable in a customer facing role
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
