About the Senior Network Engineer role

The Senior Network Engineer will be a key part of the team, with a focus on delivering projects across the client’s core network, through implementation of Cisco Core Networking technologies. The right person will deliver solutions across large-scale Service Provider Networks.

• Deliver network solutions directly and alongside operational teams across WAN, MPLS, BGP, OSPF
• Testing and management of Core Infrastructure technology
• Strong documentation writing and able articulate complex network solutions
• Design of core and distribution equipment in multi-site locations

Skills & experience required for the Senior Network Engineer

• MUST be UK based
• 5 years experience working in Service Provider or Managed Service environments
• A sound understanding of MPLS, OSPF and BGP
• CCDP or CCNP Certified, AWS, Azure and/or VMware certifications would help
• Knowledge of Cloud (public and private) and NSX-T would be ideal
• Have customer liaising experience
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
