A leading Internet and Domain Service Provider who provide services to both the public and private sectors through the UK are looking for a Senior Network Engineer due to the expansion of their Network team.

The Role

To progress with this, the Senior Network Engineer will be a key part in assisting with Net Zero projects from the start: You will be instrumental with the migration of Cisco to Juniper and help with the scripting and automation solutions to the ISP’s Core Network.

As the Senior Network Engineer, you will look after the project delivery, assist other engineers, design implement, and automate their expanding core network.

Senior Network Engineer Overview:

• Working with both Technical and Non-technical staff, you will be designing, implementing, and supporting the core Juniper networks
• You will be involved in leading projects that include Automation and Scripting
• Assist on the implementation for NSX-T
• Act as a senior escalation point to the network operations team

The Person

Skills/ Experience required for the Senior Network Engineer:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ technical experience
• Must have experience working on NSX-T
• Have experience with Ansible, terraform, or Python
• Must have high level of understanding of internet protocols including BGP, and MPLS
• Have experience working in an ISP environment
• Have experience working with Juniper EX and MX Series
• Must be able to interphase with both sales and technical staff.
