Job Title: Senior Network Engineer – ISE Specialist

Location: Cheshire, North West

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000

CCNP, CCNP Security, CCDP, Cisco R&S, FirePOWER, CheckPoint, Palo Alto, ISE.

The Company

A fast-growing managed service provider is looking for a Senior Network Engineer in Cheshire to expand their Network Security Team. They offer full managed services, across Enterprise Networks and Next-Gen Security. With accreditations and partnerships across Cisco, they lead the way in managed service security solutions.

The Senior Network Engineer will be a key part of the team, with a focus on delivering design documentation and implementation of next-gen solutions to mid-enterprise clients. The right person will deliver high and low-level design documentation across mid to large-scale Networks.

Senior Network Engineer overview

• Design network solutions directly and alongside operational teams across LAN and Network Security
• Primary driving force in expanding the security practice, with a focus to deliver ISE projects
• Lead the Security practice across Enterprise projects and design documentation
• Speak directly with end-user, specifying their needs and providing solutions
• Design of core and distribution equipment in multi-site locations

Skills / Experience required for the Senior Network Engineer

• 5 years experience working in an MSP environment
• Identifiable experience in working with Cisco ISE, Identity Services Engine
• CCNP Certified, ideally CCNP Security
• Cisco LAN/WLAN Project
• Ideally have Managed Service experience
• Have customer liaising experience
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
