Senior Network Engineer

Salary: £55,000 – £75,000

Location: London – Hybrid

The Company

An award-winning managed and professional service provider is seeking a Senior Network Engineer. The company are a fast growing, industry leading managed service provider delivering in to mid and large enterprise clients; as well as delivering within the public Sector. Their current primary focus is to an all-out supplier deliver cutting-edge technologies across Networks, Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, Storage, and Backup.

The Role

As Senior Network Engineer, you will be a key part of the team, split across leading project delivery, designs and customer engagement management. You will work remotely and on customer site, delivering design documentation and delivery of mid to large scale enterprise networking environments, working across project deployments, including design and implementation across complex enterprise network environments and security.

As Senior Network Engineer you will work on a hybrid basis, working from home but with regular travel to client sites and company office.

Senior Network Engineer Overview:

• Design and delivery of Cisco solutions, across Networks, Security, and Data Centres.
• Design and implement LAN and Security solutions across mid and large enterprise environments.
• Lead projects at a senior level, working as a senior contact point to junior members of the team.

Skills / Experience required for the Senior Network Engineer:

• Must be CCNP Enterprise certification
• 3 years’ + experience working in managed services.
• Demonstrable experience in delivering Cisco Campus networks,
• Experience working with LAN and WLAN environments, including implementation.
• Delivered multiple projects at once.
• Have customer liaising experience.
• Experience working across infrastructure technologies like VMware Microsoft, Windows, Office 365, and SAN.
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
