Salary: £400 per day

The Company

Due to growth in the team, an Internet service provider (ISP) is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to work out of their easily accessible London Office.

About the Senior Network Engineer role 

The Senior Network Engineer will be a key part of designing and implementing their solutions to the ISP’s Core Network. You will look after the project delivery, assist other engineers, design and implement, and support their expanding core network. You will, maintain their networks, monitor the core project team, and act as a senior escalation point to the NOC.

• Working with both technical and non-technical staff, you will be designing, implementing, and supporting the core networks
• Your key focus will be to design networks, perform implementations, and configure the core network
• Manage a team of project engineers
• You will look after the delivery of projects
• Act as a senior escalation point to the network operations team

Skills & experience required for the Senior Network Engineer

• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ technical experience
• Be Cisco or Juniper certified (ideally CCNP, or JNCIP)
• Must have a high level of understanding of BGP, and MPLS in Core Networks
• Have experience working in an ISP environment
• Have experience working with Juniper, ideally SRX
• Have server experience including VMware, and Linux
• Must be able to interphase with both sales and technical staff
