The Role

Due to the ISP’s expanding its team, a fantastic opportunity has arrived for a senior engineer to work directly on the core network for customers. The Senior Network Engineer will be a key part of designing and implementing their solutions to the ISP’s Core Network.

As the Senior Network Engineer, you will be the focal point for the project delivery, oversee another engineer. assist other engineers, and lead internal projects from the front. design implement and support their expanding core network. You will, maintain their networks, monitor the core project team, and act as a senior escalation point to the NOC.

Senior Network Engineer Overview

• Working with both Technical and Non-technical staff, you will be designing, implementing, and supporting the core networks.
• Your key focus will be to design networks, perform implementations, and configure the core network.
• At as a senior escalation point to the network operations team
• Work on call 1 in 6

Skills / Experience required for the Senior Network Engineer

• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ technical experience
• Be Cisco or Juniper Certified (ideally CCNP, or JNCIS)
• Must have high level of understanding of BGP, and MPLS in Core Networks
• Have experience working in an ISP environment
• Have experience working with Juniper, ideally SRX
• Have Server experience including VMware, and Linux
• Must be able to interphase with both sales and technical staff
