Salary: £550 a day (outside IR35)

The Senior Network Engineer role

The Senior Network Engineer will be a key part of the team, with a focus on delivering projects across the client’s core network, through the implementation of Juniper’s Core Networking technologies. The right person will deliver solutions across large-scale service provider networks.

• Deliver network solutions directly and alongside operational teams across WAN, MPLS, BGP
• Be focused on working with Layer 1 and Layer 2, and Layer 3
• Testing and management of Core Infrastructure technology
• Strong documentation writing and able articulate complex network solutions
• Design of core and distribution equipment in multi-site locations

Skills & experience

• MUST be UK based
• 5 years experience working in Internet Service Providers
• Experience in design and implementation
• Experience working with EX series, MX series, and T-Series
• A sound understanding of MPLS and BGP
• Juniper JNCIS or JNCIP or JNCIE would be beneficial
• Experience with FTTP, Ethernet, and Core Networks
• Have customer liaising experience
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
