Senior Network Engineer

Day Rate: £550 a day

Contracts Status: Outside IR35

Contract Length: 6-Months

The Company

A Managed Service Provider is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to work in their London office on a 6-month contract. The business offers hybrid and flexible working basis, with only 2 days a week in the office, with site visits to local client.

The business works to ensure that it’s field team work with the MSP’s clients that are local to them, to reduce any and all travel. The MSP has a key focus on Software Defined Networks and are currently working within the financial sector to provide the best Network solutions to their clients.

The Senior Network Engineer Role Overview

As Senior Network Engineer you will be a key part of their projects team, focusing on designing solutions for their clients. You will be responsible for the High-Level Design of Software Defined Networks, the build, and the implementation of Cisco ACI to their Customers networks.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Working with both Technical and Non-technical staff, you will be working on the full project lifecycle
• Your key focus will be to act as the subject matter expert for Software Defined Networks.
• Liaise with the customers, plan and design their networks
• Lead the implementation and configuration of ACI.
• Deliver a first-class service to all the MSP’s customer and their networks.

Skills and Experience required for the Senior Network Engineer

You will be supported to work in a hybrid environment with any tech and support that you need. The business does ask that you have:

• Must have experience deploying Cisco ACI multisite.
• Must have experience migrating to Cisco ACI.
• Have experience working on High Level Designs (HLD’s).
• Must have high-level of understanding of both LAN and WAN with a focus on either Security, R+S, or Collaboration.
• Have experience designing solutions for customers.
• Ideally have service provider experience.
• Must be able to interphase with both sales and technical staff.
