The Company

An award-winning managed and professional service provider is seeking a Senior Network Engineer / Consultant to work on some leading-edge technology projects. The company is a fast-growing, industry-leading managed service provider delivering to mid and large enterprise clients. Their primary focus is to deliver leading-edge network solutions from Cisco, including LAN, WLAN, SD-Access, SD-WAN, and ACI solutions.

The Role

As Senior Network Engineer / Consultant you will be a key part of the team, involved in leading design and customer consultation while overseeing delivery. You will deliver design documentation and understand technology use cases to provide business-focused outcomes.

Senior Network Consultant Overview:

• High-level design of leading-edge enterprise network solutions
• Oversee implementation of the project
• Lead technical engagement, discussing customer options, and providing technical solutions
• Present solutions to key stakeholders, discussing business requirements
• Support the product team with developing products and services aligned with networking projects, utilizing automation and AI

Skills / Experience required for the Senior Network Consultant:

• Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
• 4 years’+ experience working in a technical capacity with a focus on Cisco Networking
• Have excellent written and documentation skills
• Working at a minimum CCNP level, certification not essential but demonstrable experiance is
• Demonstrable experience in delivering across one or more of the following Cisco Enterprise experiences: LAN, WLAN, ISE, SDA, ACI, and/or SDWAN solutions.
• Excellent written and documentation experience
• Have strong customer liaison experience, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
• Experience with one or more of the following Cisco network products: SDA, ACI, DNAC, and/or Cisco ISE would be highly beneficial
• Must be able to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

The successful person will either be working across project implementation, including design and implementation of complex enterprise network environments and security, or be working in a similar network design position, looking to move into a consultancy role.
