Due to the continued success of the business and expansion of their team, an industry-leading and world-renowned IT Service Provider is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their team in London.

The business has over 10 million users nationally, including Central Government, leading Internet Providers, and highly Critical Network Infrastructures. Meaning you’ll have the opportunity to work with some of the best Networking Professionals in the country on the latest tech on the market.

Due to the service they provide, you must be a UK resident and eligible to pass DBS clearance if necessary.

 

Senior Network Engineer Roles & Responsibilities

The business will support you with onboarding onto the team and involving you with the projects that you will play a crucial part in. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Design and create States of Work.
  • Design and implement Juniper Networks.
  • Write and create scripts for automation of the Network.
  • Work collaboratively with the senior members of the team and, and work closely with vendors.
  • Collaborate with appropriate teams when necessary to gather requirements.
  • Configuring and making changes to the Network.
  • Replace the existing switches with new switches.

 

Senior Network Engineer’s Skills & Experience

The business will support you to work how is best for you and offers support with learning any new technology you need to be successful in your role. The business does ask that you have:

  • Strong experience of designing and implementing Cisco or Juniper Networks.
  • Be experienced in Scripting with Python and Bash.
  • Experienced working with DNS Servers.
  • Knowledge of ISP networks and Systems.
  • Experience working with Linux would beneficial but is not essential.
  • Are able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
