Location: Remote / Home Based (UK)

Salary: £350 – £400 per day

The Company

A leading radio, telecommunications, and internet systems service provider is seeking a Senior Juniper Specialist. The company is one of the leading providers of these services to some of the UK’s largest and most critical public services, including Police, Fire, and Ambulance, as well as supporting government infrastructure.

The Role

The Juniper Network Engineer will be a key part of the team, split across both BAU and Core Network Testing. The right person will deliver senior level troubleshooting and testing across Core Networking over the Juniper MX Series.

Juniper Network Engineer Overview

• Test network solutions directly and alongside operational teams across Juniper networks
• Deal directly with clients, specifying their needs and providing solutions
• Design and delivery of core and distribution equipment in multi-site locations across London
• Work as an escalation point if needed and technical lead during incident management

Skills / Experience required for the Juniper Engineer

• 5 years’ experience working in an MSP or ISP environment
• Experience working with Juniper MX
• Experience working with WAN and LAN across MPLS infrastructure
• Have experience in working across 2nd and 3rd line support
• Ideally have Managed Service experience
• Have customer liaising experience
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
