Senior IT Sales Account Manager Role and Responsibilities

As the Senior IT Sales Account Manager, you will work develop long-term relationships with customers engage with all seniorities of people, including senior executives.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Develop and grow existing client account where possible.
  • Report on sales activity, setting and tracking account targets.
  • Provide suggestions on improvements for sales strategies and opportunities for growth.
  • Stay up to date on Networking, Security and Cloud technologies.
  • Work with internal teams such as Marketing, to execute successful sales campaigns.
  • Provide support and guidance to the junior members of the Sales and Accounts team.

 

Skills & Experience Required for the Senior IT Sales Account Manager

The business offers in-depth support and flexible working with only occasional travel to the company office: To support you to work however is best for you. The business asks that you have:

  • Strong previous experience working in a Sales Account Manager role or something similar.
  • Knowledge of Software Defined technologies such as SD-WAN and Hyper Converged Infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical, and non-technical staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
