Job Title – Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Location – Manchester – Hybrid

Salary – £55K – 65K DOE

Senior Infrastructure Engineer & Responsibilities

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will champion the use of a variety of tech, ranging from but not limited to O365, Azure, VMware and Nutanix. Your primary focus will be high tier support – supporting the internal infrastructure and delivering on critical incident response. There will be an element of project delivery when required

• Strategy planning and road mapping
• Critical infrastructure operational management
• Maintain, monitor and manage internal virtual environments
• New site builds and deployments
• Troubleshooting major issues as a senior escalation point
• Disaster Recovery
• Supporting project team with on prem – cloud migrations

Skills & Experience

As Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of the latest technology and software. The business does however ask that you:

• MUST be UK based
• Minimum 3 years experience working across Infrastructure Environments, ideally in a service providing or professional service providing environment.
• Experience with O365, Hyper-Converged and Virtual Environments.
• Microsoft or VMware certifications – Ideally VCP
• Knowledge of backup as a service (BaaS) and infrastructure as a service (IaaS)
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical users.
