Location – Manchester – Hybrid

Salary – £55,000 – 65,000

Dynamic Search Solutions is working with a leading UK communications and services provider who are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their Manchester based team on a hybrid basis.

Senior Infrastructure Engineer & Responsibilities

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will champion the use of a variety of tech, ranging from VMware, Hosted Cloud, Azure and HCI. Your primary focus will be high tier support – supporting the internal infrastructure and delivering on critical incident response. Additional responsibilities will include:

• Strategy planning and road mapping.
• Critical infrastructure operational management.
• Maintain, monitor and manage internal virtual environments.
• New site builds and deployments.
• Troubleshooting major issues as a senior escalation point.
• Disaster Recovery.
• Supporting project team with on prem – cloud migrations.
• Project delivery when required.

Skills & Experience

As Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of the latest technology and software. The business does however ask that you have:

• MUST be UK based.
• Minimum 3 years experience working across Infrastructure Environments, ideally in a service providing or professional service providing environment.
• Experience with O365, Hyper-Converged and Virtual Environments.
• Microsoft or VMware certifications – Ideally VCP.
• Knowledge of backup as a service (BaaS) and infrastructure as a service (IaaS).
• The ability to communicate confidently and effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
