The Company

A Microsoft Gold Partner is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to work out of their London Office, Remotely, and on the client site. Covering multiple sectors they offer a fast and effective Managed service.

The Role

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will champion their Cloud and Infrastructure team acting as the technical lead for Infrastructure, Platforms, and The Cloud. You will work alongside the Solutions team in a customer-facing role, understanding customer needs, designing solutions whilst responding to RFI’s, RFP’s and delivering POC’s. The Infrastructure Architect will be the lead for Infrastructure, Platforms, and Cloud Services, working closely with the vendor to develop their propositions and go-to-market strategy.

Senior Infrastructure Engineer Overview

• Customer-facing architecture and design
• Infrastructure, Platforms, and The Cloud evangelism – advising customers on the most suitable solutions for their organisation
• Support the full lifecycle of projects
• Advising customers on Hybrid and Cloud Solutions
• Assist in driving the cloud practice
• Working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Skills / Experience required for the Senior Infrastructure Engineer

• Ideally Microsoft Certification
• have high-level of understanding of Azure
• Previous experience moving On-Premise to the Cloud
• Must have a high-level understanding of the Microsoft Stack
• Have a Managed Service background (ideally Managed Security Service Provider)
• Must be able to interphase with both sales and technical staff.
• Ideally have Microsoft Certifications, however not essential
