Salary – £30,00 – £35,000

Location – Cheshire – Hybrid

Senior Engineer Role and Responsibilities

The business is searching for a Senior Engineer to support them in providing Network Installation services to a range of exciting clients across a range of markets. Additionally, your responsibilities will include:

• Be hands on with Networking and IT cabling installations in a mixture of environments: telephony, fibre optics etc.
• Supervise the work of the junior engineers in your team, ensuring quality is maintained.
• Take responsibility of all project related engineering documentation.
• Assume a lead role on installations when necessary.
• Act as a point-of-contact for clients during installation.
• Work with both technical and non-technical staff and clients.
• Carry out site visits when necessary.

Skills and Experience Required for the Senior Engineer role:

• 3 years minimum working within network projects, across Routing and Switching, Access Points, LAN, and Structured Cabling.
• Show experience and an understanding of network cabling and installations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate across teams, and with both technical and non-technical staff and customers.
• Experience working across multiple concurrent projects.
• Must be UK based and able to commute to Cheshire on a hybrid basis.
• Must hold full UK Driving License.
• Ideally hold Prince2 certification, but not essential.
