Location: Remote

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 basic with bonus + other benefits

The Senior Network Engineer role

The Senior Network Engineer will be a key part of the team, with a focus on delivering projects across the client’s core network, through implementation of Cisco Core Networking technologies. The right person will deliver solutions across large-scale Service Provider Networks.

• Deliver network solutions directly and alongside operational teams across WAN, MPLS, BGP
• Testing and management of Core Infrastructure technology
• Strong documentation writing and able articulate complex network solutions
• Design of core and distribution equipment in multi-site locations

Skills & experience required for the Senior Network Engineer

• MUST be UK based
• 5 years experience working in Service Provider or Managed Service environments
• A sound understanding of MPLS and BGP
• CCDP or CCNP Certified, Juniper JNCIS, or JNCIP would be beneficial
• BGP and OSPF understanding is a must
• Have customer liaising experience
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
