A Service Integrator is seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer to work as part of their Platform support team liaising with customers on a daily basis. The Service Integrator have a core focus on data storage, data management, and also implementing their own innovative solutions.

The Role

As the Senior Application Support Engineer, you will be a key part in supporting customer infrastructure platforms. The role requires strong experience working with customers directly, as well as part of a team. You will work closely with the Line Manager and have multiple opportunities to learn from them as you grow and develop your skills.

 

Senior Application Support Engineer Overview:

  • Be responsible for taking customer requirements from the service catalogue and translating them into solutions.
  • Your key focus will be to build and monitor customer services, support customers, and act as an escalation point for other members of the team,
  • Lead the Managed Service team including 3rd line in technical requirements, fault fixes and responses.
  • Working with both Technical and Non-technical staff: You will be involved in setting up new services, building new equipment, assisting on configurations, and working in multiple environments.

 

Skills / Experience required for the Senior Application Support Engineer:

Your personal development and ongoing training will be a key focus for the business. The business does however ask that you have:

  • Experience working for customers.
  • Experienced with Operating systems such as Linux and Windows.
  • Strong technical experience AWS and Networking.
  • Have experience working with Kubernetes.
  • Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
  • Any experience with Security would be beneficial.
