Job Title: SAP FI/CO Consultant

Salary: €450 per day

Type: Contract

Our client is an international company based in Athens with 400 thousand staff worldwide. They are looking for an SAP FI/CO Consultant to be a part of a strong SAP team on a challenging S/4 HANA implementation.

About the SAP FI/CO Consultant role

• Translate business needs into advanced capabilities and best practices based on best-in-class standard packages
• Allow for localization and enhancements of the package
• Create corresponding functional requirements as an input to application design
• Design solutions, configure the system
• Deliver Multi-Format, Multi-Channel, Multi-Country, Multi-Business model solutions
• Support the Change Management team
• Provide day to day functional support
• Partner with peers when integrating functionalities across applications
• Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements to provide additional business capabilities with a clear business case in collaboration with the vendor
• Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter expert to more junior members
• Lead and supervise the work assigned to external resources
• Follow applicable standards, procedures, guidelines and methodologies in the implementation and/or maintenance of the data platform

Skills & experience required for the SAP FI/CO Consultant

• Hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO
• Good knowledge of Accounting processes
• Good understanding of integration between different processes
• Working knowledge of Change Management and ITIL processes
• Experience in SAP HANA
• The type of person they’re looking for is someone who is open, communicative and a good team player.
• Mandatory: excellent command of English language both written & spoken
• Knowledge of at least one of the other languages used in European operating countries (French, Dutch, Greek, Romanian, or Serbian) will be considered an asset
