The Company

An award-winning, specialised Managed Service Provider, are looking for a Sales Manager to join their offices based in Liverpool or Newport. This role is primarily office-based but does include some travel to customer sites in the south-west.

As Account Manager, your work will be focused on leading a team of Sales/ Account Managers. In addition to a competitive base salary and car allowance, the business offers a generous commission structure, to reward your hard work and success.

Sales Manager Role & Responsibilities

As new Account Manager, you will be a leader in the Accounts team, leading a team of Sales/ Account Managers to grow the business’s overall client base. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with the Chief Sales Officer to drive sales improvements across the company.
  • Take the lead on some of the business’s largest accounts.
  • Act as a leader to the Sales and Accounts team.
  • Work with the Marketing and Advertising team to create and execute marketing campaigns, targeting existing client accounts and customers.


Skills and Experience Required for the Sales Manager

The business will support you to work however is best for you. The business does ask however that you have:

  • 5+ years of experience managing sales teams.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a Managed Services Provider environment.
  • Experience of taking the lead on large and significant accounts.
  • A proven track record of managing sales people and teams.
  • Knowledge of account development, planning, and forecasting.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented with a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
  • A UK driving licence.
