The Company

A Technology Provider is seeking a Network Engineer to working remotely supporting customers all over the UK. The company is a Cisco Gold Partner, and has career paths in place to take you from being a CCNA through CCIE should this be the path you decide.

The Network Engineer role

As the Network Engineer, you will oversee escalations of the customer’s Network working with the remote senior members of the team and vendors. The engineer will also troubleshoot, configure and fault fix, to ensure SLA’s are met.

• Work as a 2nd Line Engineer
• Focus on escalations
• Troubleshoot, fault fix escalations
• Continue to train and develop
• Ensure SLA’s are met, documentation is correct, and policies and procedures are in place

Skills & experience required for the Network Engineer

• Must Be CCNA certified
• Must have an understanding of Cisco routers and switches
• Must have previous experience patching and configuring switches
• Have experience working in a customer-facing environment
• Understand SLA agreements
• Must be able to interphase with both technical, and non-technical staff
