Project Engineer

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

Location: Hybrid – London, Newport, Midlands, North-West – United Kingdom

An award-winning, specialised Managed Service Provider, are looking for a Project Engineer to join one of their many office locations throughout the UK, in either London, Newport, or the Midlands. The business is an award-winning technology solutions provider, and partner with multiple vendors such as Microsoft, Veeam, and AWS to name a few.

The business works closely with customers to guide them through the developments and complexities of the IT industry, aiming to build strong client relationships. Project Engineer Role & Responsibilities

As the businesses new Project Engineer, you will provide technical leadership to customers and internal members of your team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Deliver a high-value and professional service to key-clients and customers.
• Being hands-on in kit, servers, firewalls, APs as necessary.
• Setting up of new devices.
• Performing migrations.
• Collaborate with the Pre-Sales team to develop Proposals and Statements of Work for new business and for existing customer account growth.
• Act as strategic advisor for the client, guiding their decision making and providing an excellent customer experience.

Skills and Experience Required for the Project Engineer

The business will support you to work however is best for you. The business does ask however that you have:

• Significant experience with routing and switching: Cisco, HPE, and Dell.
• Experience with firewalls: WatchGuard and FortiGate.
• Microsoft/ Office 365 and related services (SharePoint, OneDrive, ATP, EMS, InTune, AutoPilot etc.)
• Microsoft technologies such as DFS, SQL, SCCM etc.
• Experience working across Cisco, VMware, Azure, and AWS.
