An industry-leading Managed Service Provider based in the North-West of England are looking for a Product Manager to join their team on a hybrid basis. The business prides themselves on delivering cutting-edge tech, from Software Defined Networks, Wireless, Enterprise Networking, next generation firewalls to connectivity and internet services.”.

Due to exciting growth and expansion plans for 2023, the MSP is investing heavily into their product and marketing teams. The business is looking for a Product Manager who can take ownership of a variety of IT solutions, building solution packages for the business’s clients.

 

Product Manager Role & Responsibilities

As the new Product Manager, you will be integral to the expansion plans of the business. You will be predominantly managing the selling of the businesses IT solutions, and building the businesses brand into the trusted, go-to managed IT service provider. Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Create unique, bespoke product packages of the MSP’s IT solutions for their key industries: retail, finance, housing associations, logistics & transportation.
  • Own the customer relationships across the full lifecycle.
  • Develop a complete understanding of the business’s market, strategy & portfolio, and customers.
  • Work closely with Head of Marketing to develop the business IT solutions strategy, condensing and simplifying their solutions portfolio for customers when necessary.

 

Skills / Experience required for the Product Manager:

As Product Manager you will have plenty of opportunity for progression as your grow the department underneath you. There is also the opportunity for training to help your professional development. The business does ask that you have:

  • 3+ years of experience with IT Product and solutions development in a previous role.
  • Understanding of the telco sector, FTTP, Connectivity, and fibre marketing solutions.
  • Experience of selling in to both the public and private sectors.
  • Ideally you will have an established network and connections within the industry.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
