Salary: £70,000 – £80,000

A fast-growing managed service provider is looking to expand their Network Consultation Team. They offer full managed services, across Enterprise Networks, Next Gen Security, Cyber, and Cloud. With accreditations and partnerships across Cisco, Fortinet, and Microsoft, they lead the way in managed service security solutions.

The Principal Network Consultant role

The Principal Network Consultant will be a key part of the team, with a focus on leadership across the Network function, delivering design documentation and implementation of next gen solutions to mid-enterprise clients. The right person will deliver high and low-level design documentation across large-scale Networks.

• Lead a team of Network specialists across Enterprise, Campus, and Carrier Networks
• Design network solutions directly and alongside operational teams across LAN and Network Security
• Lead the Security practice across Enterprise projects and design documentation
• Speak directly with end user, specifying their needs and providing solutions
• Design of core and distribution equipment in multi-site locations

Skills & experience required for the Principal Network Consultant

• 5+ years experience working in an MSP environment
• CCIE certified, ideally R&S or Security
• Identifiable experience in working with Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine)
• CCNP Certified, ideally CCNP Security
• Cisco LAN/WLAN project
• Ideally have Managed Service experience
• Have customer liaising experience
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
