Operations Manager

Salary – £50,000 – £55,000

Location – Cheshire – Hybrid

As such, the business is searching for an Operations Manager to join this rapidly expanding business. Operations Manager Role

As Operations Manager you will be a key player in ensuring projects and installations are delivered to customers effectively and efficiently. As this is a team and customer focused position, you will be able to communicate with and work alongside both technical and non-technical staff whilst demonstrating excellent organisational skills. You will be responsible for:

• Liaise with procurement and project management teams to plan and co-ordinate orders, ensuring efficient delivery of installations.
• Managing data cabling installations across fibre Optics, Cat6 and Cat6a.
• Manage cabling engineers including performing 1-2-1 reviews, time sheet management, performance management, coaching and development.
• Ensure all installation documentation has clear instructions and discuss installations with engineers prior to project rollout to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Delegate tasks to relevant staff to ensure effective delivery.

Skills and Experience Required

• 5 Years’ experience within the IT industry, working within Data Cabling.
• Solid understanding of Network Cabling across Cat6, Cat6a and Fibre Optics including installation methods, testing procedures and topologies.
• Strong communication skills, able to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
• An enthusiastic self-starter, able to work upon own initiative to ensure projects delivered to high quality standard expected.

Must be UK based and able to commute to Cheshire 4 days per week.
