Operations Director

The Company

A leading telecoms provider who is involved in a national Fibre rollout in the North West of England. Offering remote to all employees, with car allowance in place for any travel required.

The Role

As the Operations Director, you will collaborate on the short and long terms strategies of fibre rollout. Oversee up to 70 3rd party onsite Engineers all at different technical levels, direct large-scale projects, and lead and develop the teams with recruitment.

Operations Director Overview:

• Be a key influence on the Fibre Strategy
• Develop and lead the 3rd party Fibre teams through large scale projects
• Liaise with Partners, Vendors, and Customers, to ensure the highest standard is met at all times
• Be involved in planning and finance
• Produce monthly budgets, forecasts, activity, and management reports.
• Manage budgets, and act to ensure budget compliance

Skills / Experience required for the Operations Director:

• Must be eligible for SC Clearance
• Must have Previous Operation management experience
• Must have Service Provider background
• Must have a high-level understanding of Fibre including FTTP and FTTB
• Must be will to travel and be onsite to oversee the works
• Must be able to interphase with both sales and technical staff
• Previous large scale Project experience is beneficial
